Esta autora é uma das minhas preferidas dentro do género de romance histórico. Gosto imenso da sua "voz" e da forma como desenvolve a história e os seus personagens.
Por isso, quando soube que ia escrever uma nova série fiquei logo curiosa e desejosa por lê-la. Mas, circunstâncias fizeram que só tivesse a possibilidade de ler esta antologia que precede a série propriamente dita há pouco tempo atrás.
Como já é habitual com os livros desta autora, gostei da história apresentada deste livro e dos protagonistas, Serena e Hugo. Acho que fazem realmente um par muito bonito e apaixonado, só gostava que a autora tivesse abordado um certo aspecto da história da Serena de forma diferente.

Quando iniciei esta novella fiquei um pouco confusa, pois não era com nenhum dos personagens da série, Eternity Springs, no qual esta está incluída.
Mas após essa confusão inicial, consegui perceber que a personagem principal encontra-se relacionado com uma das personagens presentes na série e, assim melhor aproveitar esta história simples e cheia de esperança natílicia. Gostei da história e acho que a mensagem que a autora quis transmitir com este livro muito bonita.

O livro Iron Duke (da série Iron Seas) foi um dos que mais gostei de ler no ano passado e, quando vi que havia esta pequena novella sobre o Rhys e a Mina, protagonistas do referido, fiquei logo interessada em lê-la.
E, foi realmente uma experiência muito positiva poder voltar ao mundo único criado por esta autora e poder ver como a relação do Rhys e da Mina se encontra. Gostei de ver que os dois ainda se estão a habituar a uma vida em conjunto e, a tudo que isso implica e ao mesmo tempo dedicados um ao outro e a sua relação.
